"Google doesn't know which of my co-stars aren't on speaking terms, or not to leave me alone with a grabby executive," Fin shrugged. "Aria, on the other hand, does."

"Then Google clearly needs to up their algorithm game," he chuckled. Yes he definitely needed a lackey. "Grabby executives are more common than not. Or so I've heard. Despicable beings. So utterly human in the worst ways."

"Yeah, well, the whole industry is full of shitheads," Fin confessed. "This one is one of the worst though."

"The worst in what way?" Crowley asked. He was sure he already knew part of the answer. Not in a Damned way. No. Likely in an entirely Human way.

"You know what way," Fin replied simply, shaking his head. "I don't go to his office alone, and I've definitely never let him corner me at a party, let's just leave it at that."

Definitely human.

"He should get what's coming to him. Bad karma, I believe they call it."

"A nice thought, but I'm not holding my breath," Fin snorted, shaking his head. "Men like that don't fall. They might stumble or go into hiding for a bit, but they never fall."

"Well, you never know," Crowley said blithely. "You'd be surprised at what can be Arranged. There was a time smiting men like that was all the fashion. Smitings everywhere..."

"Smitings?" Fin laughed. "Right, yeah, sure. Maybe he'll be smited. ...Smote? I dunno the proper term."

"It certainly isn't smitten," Crowley chuckled. He made a mental note to look into this. The lad was charming and Crowley had a bit of free time...and it wasn't unheard of that he fill in for the angel sometimes. Perhaps he'd see what he could do.

Fin laughed again, pushing his hair back and smiling despite the grim topic.

"You have a lovely laugh. Pardon me for being rude, my dear, but it's not entirely human, is it? A bit special, aren't you?" he asked lightly.

Fin's smile faded slightly and he looked away.

"Special isn't the word I'd use," he said finally.

"Special is a perfectly suitable word. All words are made up anyway. I, myself, am rather special in my own way."

He took another sip of his tea that was still steaming, even after all these minutes.

"Oh?" Fin asked, looking just a bit uneasy. He hadn't had much luck with other fae.

"Don't get constipated, dear boy," Crowley chuckled. "I'm nothing like you, if that's what worries you."

"What are you then?" Fin asked, his guard still up as he studied the man.

"A demon. Fallen angel. Welllll...I didn't really fall. I just hung around with the wrong crowd. Word to the wise, pick your friends carefully," he said, scowling just a little. Falling was still, after six thousand years, still a sore subject for him.

"Angels aren't real," Fin replied, shaking his head. Though not that long ago fae and pucks had all been fiction too. He wasn't sure why this pill was so much harder to swallow.

"You don't think so? Why on Earth would you think they weren't?" Crowley asked.

"I dunno, I just... It seems a bit unlikely is all," Fin shrugged.

"No more or less unlikely than the Fair Folk wandering the streets of London, I'd think," he grinned. "In fact, you'd likely be shocked by all the wonders of the world right under your nose," he added, then lowered his glasses just enough to show Fin his eyes. Golden, slit-pupiled eyes.

He winked.

Then he settled his glasses back into place.

Fin drew back slightly, looking a bit shocked and nodding dumbly.

Crowley took another sip of his still piping hit tea.

"Don't be like that," he grinned. "Cat got your tongue? Surely you have some sort of thought on the wonders of the world unfolding before you."

"Honestly? I don't know if I believe you. I mean, clearly you're not human, but... You could be fae. I've known them to lie," Fin noted.
