Fin
Things were going swimmingly with Aziraphale. The things he'd learned from Fin about feelings had helped to ease his discomfort in this troubling time. The counsel had helped so much that Crowley felt uncharacteristically grateful.
He should do something. That's what humans did. He could get Fin a gift.
Yes, he decided, a gift.
Crowley knocked on Fin's door, having sauntered right into the building and into the lift as if there wasn't any reason he shouldn't. He simply headed straight for the door, knocked, then waited. It would be terribly rude to try to walk right in.

"It's all exceptionally uncomfortable and confusing," he admitted.

He passed one to the demon as he sat down as well.
"You know if you're going to propose you've got to buy a ring, yeah?"
no subject
"Hrm," he replied, sinking into the seat. "He doesn't strike me as a princess solitaire type," the demon quipped.
no subject
"So don't go traditional, go personal," Fin shrugged, cracking open his can.

"I did have a snake ring once last century that he was rather fond of," he mused. Perhaps Aziraphale hadn't been fond, per se. He'd simply noticed and remarked on it. At the time Crowley had thought little of it, but now, looking back, perhaps it had meant more.
no subject
"Sounds fun," Fin shrugged.
no subject
Crowley studied him for a long moment.
"Hrm."
He sipped his soda.
"How has your little industry problem resolved itself?" he asked, wondering just how many of the revolting men had taken his 'suggestions' to heart.

"Industry secrets, darling. I'll never tell," he snickered. "I only ask because it seems to me that we've both gotten what we needed. If you would prefer I not talk to you about love, I understand."
no subject
"It's fine, Crowley. We're- I dunno, friends, yeah?" Fin shrugged.
no subject
Crowley arched a brow sharply. It rose well above his glasses.
"Friends?" he said, then looked confused. "Al...right. Yes. Alright. Friends."
no subject
no subject
"I'm...not. No- yes. No, no, no, definitely not offended. Just, perhaps a bit confused," he said. People didn't call him friend. Well, none that anyone would consider sane.
no subject
Fin laughed softly, but didn't say anything to that.
no subject
"Do you think that's funny?" he asked dryly.

no subject
"You are like a splinter in my bum," he said...and it strangely sounded like a compliment.
no subject
"You're such a wordsmith, Crowley. A poet," Fin laughed.
In the other room Luna began to fuss, and the fae quickly got up to fetch her. After a quick diaper change he brought her out, bouncing her a bit as he settled back in on the sofa with her.
"You going to say hello to Crowley?" he asked her, even though Luna could barely do more than gurgle and squeak.
no subject
Crowley leaned in to see her better. Though he didn't really move, something about him softened, all his prickle resolving. He offered her a finger and she grabbed it.
"Awh, aren't you the sweetest little thing? Such a grip," he cooed at her, much the way he'd spoken to Warlock when he was wee.
"You're going to be so terribly charming, dear girl. With the right influences you'll be able to crush every nasty-wasty foe you ever meet. Yes, you will. Yes. You. Will."
no subject
Fin laughed, watching the pair. He was getting a lot more comfortable letting others interact with the tiny fae.
no subject
"Such a clever girl. You'll give your daddy grey hair," he continued to coo. For someone who was such a general bastard, Crowley turned to mush around babies.
no subject
"Don't worry, Luna. Life in general will turn me gray long before you get the chance," Fin snorted.
no subject
"You won't be grey for centuries," he laughed lightly.
no subject
"How'd you reckon that?" Fin laughed.
no subject
"Well, you're fae," he replied as if it was obvious. "Notoriously long lived, fae."
