Fin
Things were going swimmingly with Aziraphale. The things he'd learned from Fin about feelings had helped to ease his discomfort in this troubling time. The counsel had helped so much that Crowley felt uncharacteristically grateful.
He should do something. That's what humans did. He could get Fin a gift.
Yes, he decided, a gift.
Crowley knocked on Fin's door, having sauntered right into the building and into the lift as if there wasn't any reason he shouldn't. He simply headed straight for the door, knocked, then waited. It would be terribly rude to try to walk right in.

"Do you think?" Fin asked nervously.

Crowley made a small, non-committal 'hm' and offered a tiny shrug.
"All children are magic," the demon said. "Every single one of them."
no subject
"I didn't have you pegged as a child lover." Fin admitted with a smile.
no subject
"Why not? Did you assume I'm the sort to go around eating them?" he asked, then looked down to Luna and softly said, "I would not do that. No. We do not eat up babies. No."
no subject
"I dunno, I suppose I thought you'd find them unappealing is all," Fin shrugged.
no subject
"I appreciate their innocence," the demon replied. "Not exactly blank slates, what with the weight of original sin, but they're the best we could hope for."
no subject
Fin smiled at that, then sighed. "You know, if I'd been asked, I'd have said I didn't want a kid," he admitted. "But now she's here and I can't imagine not having her."
no subject
"I can tell," Crowley said, kindly even.
no subject
"Do you want a family?" Fin asked, pausing and then frowning. "I suppose it would be better to ask if you even can have one- I don't really know how demons come into being."
no subject
Crowley wore a soft smile and looked only at Luna who was waving a tiny, righteous fist.
"Demons are just angels, dear boy," he said. "But, no. I can't make children."
He paused and booped Luna on the nose.
"I do enjoy them, though."
no subject
"Well, she clearly likes you. Pity she doesn't have better taste than her old man," he quipped.
no subject
"She's obviously a genius," the demon smiled softly at her. The smile faded when he looked up at Fin. "I'm not sure about you," he told him flatly.
no subject
"I got you laid," Fin countered easily.
no subject
"Touché," the demon conceded.
"We just won't tell her that part."
no subject
"No, we best not," Fin smiled.
Luna began to fuss a bit, reaching for her dad, and the fae leaned over to take her back, bouncing her lightly on his knee.
"So, are you and your lover living together?" he asked curiously.
no subject
"Sort...of?" Crowley answered. "We're looking for a place together, because neither of us likes the other's place. But it seems Aziraphale sleeps in my bed."

"I fear we two may both be too set in our ways," he said. Luna kicked her foot and Crowley lightly caught her toe and gave it a wiggle. "We do have plenty of time to work it out now, though."

"I tend not to think that far ahead. People always undo my plans if I try too hard," he admitted, basically saying that at his core he was fundamentally lazy.
no subject
"Not asking you to plan, just wondering what demons daydream about when they're in love," Fin shrugged.
no subject
"Sushi," he replied simply. "And wine. And books."
no subject
"Sushi?" Fin asked, bouncing Luna when she started to fuss again.
no subject
"You know, the fish and rice things," he said, sure Fin couldn't be so stupid as to not know what sushi was. "Aziraphale thinks it's nice so we have it often."
no subject
"I know what sushi is, Crowley. I just didn't understand why you'd daydream about it," Fin replied.
