Merry Christmas
While Aziraphale had been in his room letting his cocoa go cold with his nose in a book, no doubt, Crowley had been quite busy down in the library. He'd found a tree. And he'd trimmed it especially for Sol Invictus. It was artificial, of course, since plastics were evil. And Crowley, given the choice, had selected a shimmery black tree. His decorations included blood red tinsel garland, and tiny little angels and demons scattered amongst shiny black and red ornaments.
It stood directly in the middle of the room, between the door and the desk. Annoyingly in the way.
He stood back, quite proud of it.
And then he settled in his favorite chair and pulled out his phone to make a little mischief on the tiktok thing.

Crowley stared at him in shock and amazement for a long moment, and then realization dawned on him and he felt something he'd not felt since he'd hung about with some bad apples and made some poor choices...
"Love," he said, and it sounded like it could mean everything Love could possibly mean, all at once, right this second.

"Yes," he nodded.
His senses slowly came back to him and Aziraphale quit glowing and Crowley melted in against him, slithering close and curling up. He tucked his wing close and tangled his arms around the angel.
"Yes. You. I...you. What I said. You heard me," he confessed quietly.

"Since Creation," he said, dragging his lips softly against the soft curve of Aziraphale's jaw.

"No one ever found out about your sword...we can keep this secret, too," the demon assured him confidently.

“My dear, what made you… why tonight?” Because Aziraphale had certainly had absolutely no idea.

"The stars aligned," he lied. He didn't have a real reason, but he was, of course, not going to admit to that.

"So what happens tomorrow?"

"It's Boxing Day. I was going to give the kitchen staff passes for the cinema," he said, carrying on as normal in an attempt to feel normal and not all...all fluttery.

"I could tell," he smiled. "Should we get up and go play Santa while the students sleep? You, doing good by leaving presents. And I'll help with the evil of breaking and entering..."

"Should we dress festively?" he asked, slowly pulling away. He'd never refuse the chance to wear something stylish.

Crowley arched a brow and wore a sly smile.
"Sloth is a sin, angel," he teased.

"So is gluttony, and I'm starving," he smiled, then ducked in to playfully bite Aziraphale with rather sharp fangs. And he held on for a moment before kissing him and breaking away.
Crowley enjoyed sleeping. He was quite good at it. But he didn't do it, as a general rule, because if he was going to do it, he wanted to do i all at one. For a century, perhaps.
Now he was ready to go spread some Christmas magic.
